What is data protection management?

Data protection management is the structured approach used to organize, optimize and control the legal and operational requirements of data protection.

A well-thought-out data protection management system (DSMS) aims to systematically identify the risks associated with the processing of personal data and how to deal with them appropriately.

We will gladly advise you

Benefits of a professional data protection management system:

  • Being prepared to deal with growing pressure on data protection
  • Structured project work based on standard-compliant templates
  • Effective communication and information within an organization
  • Easy provision of data protection documentation for internal and external purposes
  • Less time spent on documentation requirements and training your employees

Comply with the General Data Protection Regulation

For a clear view of data protection

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standardizes data protection in companies. To implement the requirements effectively, it is often advisable to use data protection management software, which can be used for central planning, management and control.

Well-prepared for controls

If an authority inspects your company, you must be able to provide concrete evidence of the technical and organizational measures of your company’s internal data privacy management. Otherwise, you could face fines. Investors, stakeholders or shareholders also check this as part of due diligence audits.

Advantages of a digital data protection management system

Data privacy management can be mapped digitally, for which we provide our customers with data privacy software, for example. This software can set up the entire data protection process, including all relevant documents.

What is data protection management software good for?

  • Data protection management system for clear guidelines
  • Meeting the organizational challenge of increasing data volumes
  • Simply comply with strict rules on personal data
  • Keeping an eye on changes in the GDPR
  • Internal guidelines for corporate data protection
  • Legal certainty against data protection breaches
  • More time for day-to-day business

Data protection management on paper

If a company needs support with data protection management without this being done digitally, we build a corresponding case structure that demonstrably maps the requirements. This then documents in a structured manner all the tasks that the company must fulfill for data protection.

  • Art. 30 GDPR, which requires the controller to keep and maintain a register of all processing activities.
  • Article 32 of the GDPR stipulates that the controller and the processor must implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure and provide evidence that personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR.
